Originally, Tekkou and Kyahan are for travellers and protect their hand and foot on their way in hills and fields.

Also, it helps them from fatigue to control blood circulation by tightening and / loosing the straps. In this means, Tekkou and /or Kyahan with velcro fasteners or Kohaze clips are more modern design.

Leather sole Tabi is very endurable, strong Tabi against heavy and hard use. However, for its nature, you cannot wash the sole of LEATHER. Please just brush the sole. You can wet the body (cotton), but considering about the sole,
please rub it with wet towel or spray and dry.
