You can see the label inside of the Martial Hakama. The left box means "Wasshing Machine OK" by soft wasithing and the water should be limited 40 centigrade hot.

ARE YOU SURE? CAN WE WASH OUR HAKAMA BY MACHINE?????

:::::: Artisans' information :::::

1. We do not want to recommend it,
2. But we know some of our customers do, wash it by machine. (And some of they says they broke the back board of the Hakama by machining wash)
3. The back board is made of plastic, so it won't damaged
by water. However, hard washing might damage the
board (meaning break, crack it.)
4. The pleats will be damaged by watering wash.

We recommend you HAND WASH rather than Machining wash, but if you wash by machine, please take care
of it well. Your Hakama is very delicate!!!!
